⏱️ Customer Order Cancellation Windows & Duration
At OrderKart, we understand that daily meal planning can change. You have the freedom to cancel your order easily with zero cancellation charges within the designated cancellation windows described below.
1. Cancellation Windows (Duration)
- Express 37-Minute Orders: Can be cancelled within 5 minutes of placing the order, or before the order status transitions to "Packing / Out for Delivery". Once produce has been freshly cut or dispatched with our delivery partner, cancellations cannot be processed.
- Next-Day Scheduled Delivery / Pre-Orders: Can be cancelled free of charge up to 4 hours prior to the start of the scheduled morning delivery slot (e.g., before 3:00 AM for a 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM delivery window).
- Community Bulk Pool Orders (Group Buy): Can be cancelled at any time before the pool is locked and settled for wholesale procurement. Once the pool timer ends and produce is procured from wholesale mandi, orders are locked for delivery.
2. How to Cancel an Order
You can cancel your order via any of the following self-service and direct support options:
- Directly In-App: Open the OrderKart app → Go to My Orders → Select the active order → Tap Cancel Order (if within the eligible cancellation window).
- Via WhatsApp Support: Message your Order ID to our 24/7 dedicated support desk at +91 90211 07009.
- Via Phone Call: Call our store dispatch desk directly at +91 90211 07009.
3. Cancellation Refund Process & Timelines
If an order cancelled within the valid window was paid online (via PayU / UPI / Cards / Net Banking):
- 100% Full Refund: The entire amount is refunded with zero cancellation fees or deduction.
- Refund Settlement Duration: Online payments are refunded back to the original payment source within 2 to 5 business days through our payment gateway banking partners.
- Store Credit (Instant): If you choose instant store credit, your refund is credited within 15 minutes for use on your next order.
4. Cancellation by OrderKart (Store Desk)
While rare, OrderKart reserves the right to cancel an order under the following exceptional circumstances:
- Unforeseen natural disruptions (extreme weather, floods, road closures).
- Total non-availability of fresh agricultural harvest in the morning wholesale market.
- Customer address is located outside our designated serviceable routes.
- Customer is unreachable after multiple attempts by our delivery executive.
In all cases where OrderKart initiates cancellation, 100% of any prepaid amount is immediately refunded to the customer.
